New Button Batch!

Just collected my last button batch. They have been cooking nicely in the oven for almost a week! This new range includes some of my digital print desins set into the resin as well as some of my laser cutting work. My buttons are all bespokely made, so although they are based on similar designs, no two are ever the same. When I work with resin it's never that predictable!!

Still have to sand them, prepare them and card them up. They are utterly pampered buttons! Check out my website for more designs and an idea of price.

Nicola Malkin

Another website I have been pre-occupied with today is Nicola Malkin's. She makes absolutely gorgeous ceramic jewellery pieces. Check out her charm bracelets - so beautiful and eclectic! I love her skull piece (below) a really cool juxtaposition of death and cute kitsch icing sugar looking flowers! Love it!

Teresa Clark

Been looking at the work of Photographer/Artist/Collector Teresa Clark. She has a real way of composing a scene - using random found objects she creates little, very beautiful pieces. There is something of her work akin to embroidery - the delicacy and consideration over every placement is similar to the precision and accuracy of hand embroidery - its what I love about my medium of choice!
